Since our beginning, we have been a part of some of the largest and most progressive insurance undertakings in the State of Florida.

Established by Frank R. MacNeill in Sanford, Florida, the offices were relocated to Miami in 1947. Under the guidance of the Company's founder, and later Malcolm G. MacNeill, the Company prospered and grew writing primarily personal property and some commercial lines business. As the business expanded so did the lines and companies we represented. Today we offer a full complement of Property and Casualty products in both admitted and non-admitted markets.

In 1997, we were awarded the distinguished designation of Certified Managing General Agent (CMGA) by the American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA). We are proud to be one of only a select number of Managing General Agencies nationwide and the first in Florida to receive this award.

In 2005, and again in 2006, MacNeill was recognized by our employees, and The South Florida Business Journal, as one of the "Best Places to Work" in South Florida. As this nomination and subsequent recognition is a direct result of an employee driven initiative, we are especially proud of it. In August 2006, MacNeill was recognized by the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of Florida for our 50 years of support and commitment to the independent agency system in Florida. And most recently, in September 2006, PIA National named MacNeill as their "MGA of The Year".
